I have Garage Band 4 point something, Circa 2008.

I cannot get Garage Band to recognize or find the XRB loops.

I downloaded XRB Free 1.00 and once you get the install folder/file into your computer (desktop, or the library, or the applications folder), and you launch the install--you have no option where to dump the samples. It just dumps them mysteriously \\\"somewhere\\\" and I cannot find where it even exists.

A spotlight search for XRB reveals only the install folder, not a folder with sample files in it.

Would be great to have a browsing feature in the install like every single other application has.

End result is that XRB does not appear in Garage Band loops, apple loops, or in any place. When I try to drag the install folder into the loop browser that also doesn\\\'t work. If I had a location of the actual folder with the actual samples that MIGHT work but it is not apparent.

Any suggestions? Thanks! zod74sc at yahoo.com

Downloaded some free drum loops to augment the selection in Garageband. They were all audio loops (the ones with the blue symbol) rather than the kind with a yellow note as their icon. They seem to be set at a particular beats per minute, and can't be changed to fit the song you are creating. This may be my novice approach rather than a limitation of audio loops.
Of themselves, they are great loops, but sadly until I find out how/if you can alter the beats per minute on them they are not much use to me.

Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 46

I've only just downloaded the free pack and am impressed by the variety of the pre-set loops. But more useful is the IDrum application which I can adjust to suit the music I compose.Have not yet got the results I want, totally, but I feel it's possible with a bit of persistence. Yeah, this looks like the application I was looking for. May even upgrade to the next level in time to come.
Thanks to the Team!
